New acquisitions and launches at Lifesize
Important launches, new acquisitions, updated solutions, and an expansion of Lifesize CxEngage contact center. It is an exciting time for Lifesize with a lot of things going on!
Tim Maloney is the SVP of worldwide channels at Lifesize. Here he gives us the latest updates on what is going in Lifesize and the industry at large, and shares his view of the collaboration with Navigator.
What is going on at Lifesize right now?
It is a very exciting time for Lifesize. We recently acquired the top digital whiteboard collaboration company, Kaptivo, and just launched an updated, simplified solution called Kaptivo Rooms. We are also preparing to launch Lifesize Connect, a dual-pronged hardware and software solution that will support use of our industry-leading Icon room systems with any cloud meeting or video conferencing service like Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Finally, we are expanding our Lifesize CxEngage contact center (CCaaS) platform into new geographies and verticals, building off our success with this cloud-based offering in the U.S.
How do you view your collaboration with Navigator Nordic?
Lifesize is a channel-focused company and without exceptional partners like Navigator, we wouldn’t be able to support our world-class customers in the Nordics. We count on Navigator’s business relationships, technical support for Lifesize solutions and deep understanding of the Nordics’ market to ensure Lifesize is able to serve both our resellers and end users as effectively as we can.
How do you see the future of Lifesize and the Video/Contact Center market at large?
There is currently a lot of change and uncertainty in the market, although that is not necessarily a bad thing. This is driving increased demand for cloud solutions that can support distributed and hybrid workforces like contact centers and their agents. The substantive investments and strides in product innovation that Lifesize has been making in this space will position us to grow our footprint in the European market, in particular. Additionally, Lifesize Connect will provide customers the freedom to change their cloud video conferencing service of choice without fear of wasting their investment in future-proofed, 4K-capable Lifesize endpoints, putting Lifesize in highly favorable, interoperable territory.
