Renewed confidence from the city of Mölndal

Simon Burge, Lead Network Designer/Architect på Mölndals stad

We have delivered IT equipment to the city of Mölndal since 2018 and are now happy to have received renewed confidence together with our reseller Atea, to deliver SFPs, optical cabling and optical filter to their datacenter.

Today’s IT systems are getting more powerful and demand higher speed. This makes demands on continuous renewals and updates of the systems. This applies to a great extent, municipalities that need to manage a lot of different services in their systems. Together with Atea, we now have received the opportunity to continue our successful collaboration together with the municipality of Mölndal.  “Our renewed confidence builds on us fulfilling the municipality’s requirements on environment and quality and that we have attractive rates”, says Carl Fredelin, responsible for the Data Center Product Area at Navigator Nordic.

“The city of Mölndal is a municipality with a competent IT division, lying in the forefront of development. The municipality themselves have a good view of what they need, but as a proactive distributor we can help see which solutions are the best. We work continuously in close collaboration with our reseller Atea. A collaboration that has worked very well and that we are happy to continue with”, Carl says.

”Navigator is engaged in working close with the customer, where they can get a sense of the customer’s needs but also assist in how to best implement technical solutions. With the help of Navigator, we have secured our infrastructure with a lifetime guarantee on all equipment. We have also contributed to the environment, this through an ISO14000-classification, which is something very few can offer in this line of business. I am hoping for a long cooperation if the Swedish Public Procurement Act agrees, but at the moment there is no one who can match the price- and guarantee level that we are offered today by Navigator”, says Simon Burge network manager at the city of Mölndal.
